On March 5, 2019, the 2nd meeting of the 13th National People’s Congress inaugurated in the Great Hall of the People, where deputy to the National People’s Congress, DSIC Party Secretary and Chairman Liu Zheng attended the meeting. Recently, Liu expressed when interviewed by CCTV journalist, China shipbuilding industry is just at the crucial time of transformation and development, and it is a common view to head for development of intelligent manufacturing reached by the shipbuilding industry .
Liu pointed out, China shipbuilding industry, especially the real economy, is now at the crucial time of transformation and development, based on the national requirements of high-quality development, the future development of our shipbuilding industry shall head for intelligent manufacturing from enterprise internal.
Meanwhile, Liu also expressed, this is a common view reached by the shipbuilding industry. Currently, China shipbuilders are still at a developmental stage mainly relying on manpower as a whole. However, we insiders have all realized this issue. In the next step, shipbuilding enterprises shall head for internal development of intelligent manufacturing, undoubtedly, there are also two directions of development- unmanned piloting and smart ship, seen from shiptypes and future market demand. So those two intelligentizations are the development orientations of the shipbuilding industry under transitional period. At this crucial moment of transformation, our premier talked about shoring up tax and cost relief, and increasing input on science and technology and key base so as to invigorate enterprises. Therefore, we have full of confidence in the future!
